Jason Taylor Foundation "Bluapple Poetry" Open Mic for High School Students

Event Description:

As part of the Jason Taylor Foundation, students from area high schools across South Florida that are enrolled in the Blueapple Poetry Network club will be given the opportunity to perform their poems on stage, and to connect with other high schoolers in the network. This open mic is free and, allows students to practice their skills and connect with their fellow poets. The Jason Taylor Foundation policy is “clean” mics, meaning poets must refrain from using profanity or offensive language. This is a great Admissions opportunity, and STU students can also attend. (I spoke to President Armstrong about this and he said to submit as this is the type of external event that would be free). The event is run by Professionals, one of which is an alum. They can provide microphones and speakers. And I would stay to assist.
